Fort Fincastle is a historic limestone fort built in 1793 on Bennet’s Hill, one of Nassau’s highest points, to protect the town and harbour. Its distinctive paddle-steamer shape, elevated location, and proximity to the Queen’s Staircase make it a popular stop on walking and sightseeing tours of downtown Nassau.
